Dénaturation numérique
I scanned these flowers to photograph their images from the computer screen. A research was elaborated from the visual reproduction of the scanner, that of the screen and the settings of color temperature in my camera.
The obtained result represents colors that are "artificially natural and alive", they are crossed by rays of light that represent a kind of motion, all this according to a conflicting duality between natural and digital. This virtuality is expressed by these white lines, they bring this still life out of its documentary context of study and classification ; in opposition to the approach of the photographer Karl Blossfeldt who used to photograph plants in a very realistic way.
