Tests for twilight
These images are directly inspired by the photographer-artist Lasse Hoile who has done artworks for bands such as Porcupine Tree, Opeth and Blackfield (among others).
This twilight moment was created by a refraction of light from my computer screen while reshooting the pictures displayed there. I reshot these images using a high ISO level where the noise is very noticeable, it gives them a painting look that celebrates stillness and silence ; this is where the noise creates “a visual silence”.
